What We Provide
Learning Experience
We specialize in teaching beginners the fundamentals of equine care and horsemanship. Guests will learn basic skills such as how to groom a horse, which brushes to use, how to properly lead a horse, and how to safely and confidently behave around horses. Our goal is for every beginner to leave with greater knowledge, confidence, and a deeper understanding of horses than when they arrived.
Basic Horsemanship
In addition to teaching beginners basic ground skills, we also provide instruction in essential riding techniques. Guests will learn foundational "in the saddle" skills such as how to stop and back up a horse, how to properly guide and control a horse using reins and leg cues, and other beginner riding fundamentals. Our goal is to help each rider feel safe, confident, and comfortable in the saddle.
Safety
While introducing beginners to new horsemanship skills, we strive to provide the safest and most comfortable environment possible. Safety measures include wearing helmets, spending time in the arena before heading out on the trails to ensure both horse and rider are calm and confident, and providing guided support throughout the ride. On the trails, we stay close to the horse and rider so we can assist whenever needed and help ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone.
